Non-Surgical FACE Lift
As we age our face loses volume - the mid face and cheek areas become flatter and hollow causing accentation of the nose to mouth lines and jowls, accompanied by bone resorbtion with advancing years. The result is sagging, drooping and hollowing of the face, in addition to thinning of the top lip. In fact we all stop producing naturally (unless wounded or scar formation) in our twenties, and sun exposure also causes natural degradation of collagen through enzyme activation. A surgical facelift does not restore this lost volume.
Dermal Fillers and collagen stimulating products are used to restore this volume, sculpt the face and hydrate the skin. These non-surgical procedures are rapidly gaining popularity in restoring the 3-D contour of the face without the need for plastic surgery. Dr. Shrivastva treats the mid-face, cheeks, nasolabial fold and marrionette lines to provide an instant and dramatic lifting effect known as the “8-point Non-surgical lift.” this involes small volumes of filler placed in the following areas using a small needle or cannula.

Points 1 and 2.
Cheek Structure - When we are young are cheeks our full and sit high in the face. This volume is lost as we all mature, creating a heavy sagging appearance, contributing to nasolabial folds.
Tear trough and Mid face - volume loss under the eye with time creates a hollow depression and aged appearance. Loss of this malar fat pad over time leads to flattening of the area under the eye.
Nasolabial folds - with loss of the supporting soft tissue in the mid face and malar fat-pad area the nose to mouth lines become more prominent accompanied by bone resorbtion. If you look at pictures of yourself when younger you will notice more volume below your nose and above the top lip which become sunken over time.
Points 5 and 6.
Pre-jowl sulcus - Loss of volume in this area combined with the effects of gavity from mid face supporting soft tissue leads to jowl formation and a heavy lower face.
Marionnette lines - The corners of our mouths become turned down over time, and more pronounced.
Cheek Hollows - Often an area neglected by cosmetic physicians, but very prominent in some patients. These Buccal hollows can be emphasised by por dentition, loss of teeth or just volume loss. Dermal Fillers here can create an immediate enhancement.
The Jawline -when young, our jawline is a smooth contour from the mandible to the chin - this definition is lost with advancing age creating hollows and furrows. the chin muscle also tends to pull inwards and upwards leading to a change in jaw line structure - this too can be treated.
As one might appreciate, treating one area of the face will never give the desired effect of youthful facial rejuvenation. This revolutionary new approach takes a more holistic view of the aging face and gives dramatically beautiful results.
This is can also be combined with Botulinum toxin injections into the jawline, depressor muscles of the mouth and and neck bands (“turkey bands”) to enhance the lifting affect.
Before and after Voluma injections - note subtle replacement of mid face volume and areas under nose where bone resorption is prominent gives a beautiful lift. Jawline contouring in combination with botox to the necklace lines and forehead provides a natural result.
